I can't believe that 2003 is almost over. Can you? The latest news here is that I am currently costuming a new film, "Cinderella Man", starring Russell Crowe and Renee Zellwiger, with Ron Howard directing. This is always exciting for me, because clothing from local attics and closets gets its 15 minutes of fame (and so do I! :)). It should be out in early 2005.

And, to you, my loyal customers, thanks for keeping The Cats Pajamas in business this year. This has been a tough year for me personally and financially, and I know I'm not alone in that. THANKS!!!

OOOh this is a good one! Picture a 4-bedroom house in the middle of nowhere, Pa. No running water, and a gas toilet on the back porch. But the whole house is filled with clothes and hats and purses! And there's two of practically everything, since it was two old maid (oops, is that PC these days?) aunties that lived there together until they passed on. We were there when they opened the trunks that hadn't seen the light of day until November of 2003! Of course everything was dusty and musty, but between my gigantic dry-cleaning bill, my washing machine, and me, it's a great haul! Most of it went straight to the movie house, but there will soon be much of it available on line. It was terrific fun sorting thru it all!I learned all about "squirrel wash"-what an enlightening experience!
