December 2007 Trunk / Fashion Show - Stamford, Connecticut
The
Cats Pajamas recently presented a trunk / fashion show in Stamford
Connecticut at the United Wrecking House to benefit the charity "Women
in Management" and "Dress for Success" in Mid Fairfield county. Here are
highlights from the show, in photos below.
Here's a comment from Rita McCaf (RitaTMcCaf@aol.com), who arranged
the show on Dec 6th, 2007:
"A Vintage fashion revue staged by THE CATS PAJAMAS was the featured
entertainment at a recent fund raiser benefitting DRESS FOR SUCCESS in
Stamford Ct. Held in a local antique store, the show seemed "at home" in
the proper venue.
Vintage coats and evening wear were the favored ensembles, though
professional suits were also shown to the delight of the discerning
group of women executives who made up the audience.
More than thirty ensembles were modeled, complete with accessories,
accompanied by Miss Kitty's accompanying dialogue, advising the guests
of the history of each garment, its size and fabrication, A diverse
range of models both in age and size assured the guests that vintage can
be fashionable "for anyone".
A wide variety of additional garments was offered for sale after the
show, and guests enjoyed trying on the clothing and accessories.
Miss Kitty also presented for sale her extensive jewelry collection, to
the delight of the guests.
Guests left with the feeling that VINTAGE IS VERY "TODAY". a new look at
historic fashion!!"
